it's been a while, and i apologize for my inconsistency in updating this thing.

i passed biochem.
go me.

that means that i am likely to go on a medical mission this summer. hopefully to cuba. more on that later.

- i realized that i know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the american democratic process. maybe that's how bush won in the first place. i know i voted for gore, but i'm not sure how my vote affected anything anywhere. i keep hearing about this iowa caucus business. what the frick is an iowa caucus?!?!? (i'm looking extremely dumb here, i know, but i'm in med school and you're not. so poo poo to you!) and who the hell is kerry?

- i love american idol. at first i felt bad about myself for laughing at other peoples' lack of talent. and then i felt worse because simon was being mean. but then i heard his perspective- he is really giving these people a reality check. hopefully having 3 people in "the industry" telling you you're garbage and then displaying your disastrous attempt at singing across the nation will make you understand that being a pop star is not for you. i wish there were a "medical school idol." i would not make it past the first round.

- to the eagles: don't you remember you told me you loved me baby? said you'd be coming back this way again? baby, baby, baby, ohhhhhhh baby... i love you... i really do...

and i will have to write more later, because i have an extremely important exam tomorrow.
